Test Glazes

I made 40 test tile's to test out new and old glazes. Each tile has a hole at the top which I will hang on the wall once all the glazes have been fired. The studio does not currently have any samples for any of the glazes so this will be a great way for not only myself but for future students to identify colors they want to use and work with.

Each tile is numbered from 1-40, so I'll be able to assign them to a glaze.

I ended up glazing 26 of the test tile glazes I made. I plan to use the other tiles for testing when we order more glazes. Below is the list I made for the glazes. I plan to hang these titles and the glazing list in the studio, once it is finished getting re-molded.

Glaze List 1-40

Helpful tips: For each glaze apply 3 coats, allow for the glaze to dry in between coats. Stir the glaze before applying, a lot of the glazes have chunks in them and need to be stirred, especially the specialty glazes.
